IN VIVO GENE EDITINGÂ OF T-CELLS FOR ENHANCED IMMUNOTHERAPY
Nov 7, 2024
Congratulations to Jin Qu and Yuan Wang for a new publication accepted by Nature Communications. We created a hydrogel electronics-based tweezer system to perform in vivo gene editing of T-cells in lymph-nodes to enhance cancer immunotherapy.
BEYOND RESEARCH

Professor Shi, as the invited panel member, attended the seminar (Hong Kong as Asia’s Medical Technology Hub) hosted by InvestHK, to discuss the exploration of Hong Kong's pivotal role in the medical device industry and to discover the opportunities available for medical device companies and stay informed about regulatory requirements for medical device registration in Hong Kong
MICROARRAYED ELECTROPORATION FOR TRANSDERMALÂ DNA VACCINATION
June 12, 2024
Congratulations to Yuan Wang and Jin Qu for their publication in PNAS. We develop a hydrogel-based organic electronic device (μEPO) for both transdermal delivery of nucleic acids and in vivo microarrayed cell electroporation, which is specifically oriented toward one-step transfection of DNAs in subcutaneous antigen-presenting cells (APCs) for cancer immunotherapy.
